ZC Rubber, a long-time Hyundai Commercial Vehicle original equipment supplier. is currently providing new truck tire patterns and sizes for a variety of Hyundai long-haul truck models in China.
For the past five years, Hyundai Motor Group has ranked fifth among global automakers in terms of sales. One of ZC Rubber’s largest commercial OE customers is its Chinese commercial vehicle subsidiary.
The pure electric light truck model Hyundai Hongtu EV is outfitted with ZC Rubber high-performance tires that are specially optimized for efficient transportation, providing both ecological and economic benefits. They feature a completely new pattern design and compound created specifically for the Hyundai Hongtu EV to achieve seamless performance as well as increased safety, mileage, and environmental friendliness.
ZC Rubber will also be an OE tire supplier for the premium truck Hyundai Xcient, which will benefit from improved fuel economy. According to the results of a Chinese fuel-saving competition test, the equipped tires could save more than 30,000L of fuel over the course of 300,000 km under average driving conditions. Meanwhile, it contributes significantly to a reduction in carbon emissions. ZC Rubber and Hyundai have performed a series of tests in order to develop the low rolling resistance version, which will be available soon. ZC Rubber also plans to grow its presence in the premium commercial vehicle market.
