TOYO Tyre’s consumer tyre factory in Malaysia has been renamed to designate it as a manufacturing and marketing company.
Formerly called Toyo Tyre Manufacturing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, the new name has been simplified to Toyo Tyre Malaysia.
The consumer tyre plant is expected to be completed to begin operation next spring.
According to Toyo Tyre, the development is part of the company’s five-year plan strategy to concentrate its management resources on growing markets. It is also focusing on expanding sales of high-valued added products and continuing to develop applications of environmentally conscious technology.
Furthermore, increasing manufacturing productivity as well as firming up its supply structure are also up their sleeves.
The company said it is focusing on improving its supply chain system “in order to quickly respond to changing market demands.”(RJA)
