Russian tyre factory Nizhnekamsk of the Tatneft’s tyre manufacturing Complex produced its 100,000th tyre.
Production of solid steel cord tyres is one of the promising areas of the PJSC TATNEFT’s tyre manufacturing business. The factory produces tyres for assembly of all types of trucks, buses and semitrailers.
In 2015 the share of the SSC KAMA tyres in the total all-steel tyres production in Russia accounted for 61 percent with the demand for products exceeding the supply by half. The number of SSC tyres sold in 2015 amounted to 875 thousand pieces.
The beginning of 2015 witnessed the start of operating a new joint venture with Marangoni SpA (Italy) in the Nizhnekamsk SSC Tire Factory dealing with rehabilitation of the SSC tyres.
