Rossini’s new Asian plant to operate in 2014

rossiniROSSINI, an Italian manufacturers of rubber rollers, sleeves and mandrels for flexography and gravure presses, has set up a new manufacturing plant in Pune, which is expected to be operational in 2014. It is the company’s only factory in Asia.

Mumbai-based Scanvik Packaging, the Indian representatives of Rossini since 2000, will oversee the sales and marketing of Rossini India.

Rossini says that the requirement for their products is huge and with presence in India, it will be able to “aggressively” tap the Asian market.

The Pune factory will be able to produce up to 10,000 rollers per month. Rossini will manufacture the rubber component in Italy to maintain the consistency of the product’s quality.
