Volkswagen named Nexen Tire’s N’blue Premium tyres as original equipment (OE) for the Volkswagen Caddy. The Korean tyre company sees this as an opportunity to widen their reach to American and European markets.
Nexen says the N’blue is fuel-efficient and eco friendly. The tyre received a Special Mention at the German Design Award 2015. The tyre was also chosen as OE for the Renault Twingo last June.
“We are happy to continue signing contracts and broadening the range of our supply of original equipment tires to various types of vehicles from leading global car manufacturers,” said Nexen Tire. “We will continuously expand the supply of our original equipment tires to global car manufacturers in the European and North American markets.”
