Double Coin Tyres and China Manufacturers Alliance have unveiled two new tyres at the Specialty Equipment Market Assocation (SEMA) in Las Vegas this week.
The two tyres were the OptiGreen Series FD425, a super wide weight-efficient and fuel-efficient drive position tyre and the RSD3 a tyre made to specialize in winter driving conditions.
According to Aaron C. Murphy, Vice President of China Manufacturers Alliance, the OptiGreen Series FD425 of Double Coin was a result of the company’s avant-garde technology.
“Fleets and owner-operators continue to examine ways to reduce their vehicles’ carbon footprint by improving fuel efficiency. Double Coin continues to evolve its product line to meet the needs of the industry, the environment and the end user,” Murphy added.
The OptiGreen Series FD425 features a wider yet low profile design that has low rolling resistance and weight that is good for greater mileage. It is also designed to become more durable as it uses advanced tread compounds.
It is available in a 445/50R22.5 size with a maximum carrying capacity of 10,200 lbs.
On the other hand, the RSD3 is an ultra premium drive position tyre that is optimized for the unique and challenging road during winter. It is engineered to improve tractions on icy and snowy roads.
“Double Coin continues to meet growing market demands for innovative and durable products,” Murphy said. “The new RSD3 offers significant value and performance in the toughest winter conditions by employing our latest in engineering designs and technologies.”
It is available in sizes 11R22.5, 295/80R22.5, and 315/80R22.5. (RJA)
