Jaidah Automotive, Independent Aftermarket (IAM) wholesale operations, a fully owned subsidiary of the Jaidah Group, has announced a 12% increase in their wholesale business for 2014.

The announcement was made at the fourth annual appreciation event to thank customers for their support and recognise the firm’s top 10 performers.

Arthur Fernandes, general manager, IAM, described the increase in wholesale figures indicates “that not only are there more cars on the road, but owners show a clear preference for high quality, original parts that are safer.”
“We thank all our wholesale customers for their hard work in partnering with Jaidah Automotive to achieve these results, and applaud them for their success,” he stated.

Fernandes also informed customers of new products that will soon be added to the existing portfolio. With an objective of creating a one-stop shop for all automotive requirements, new products will include tyres, brakes, shocks and struts, and some air-conditioning items.

More than 130 customers attended the annual event held at Oryx Rotana hotel in Doha. K T Rao, wholesale manager, welcomed customers and supplier representatives. This was followed by a gala dinner, and the evening was concluded with a raffle draw for 25 gifts that included electronics, courtesy of the organisers.
