The Rubber Board is organizing training programmes for manufacturing of rubber products at Rubber Training Institute at Kottayam in Kerala.
Training on rubber processing and grading will be held on June 16 and June 17. The course includes latex collection, processing into sheet rubber, smoke houses and green book standards. The fee for the course is Rs 800 (non-residential). For accommodation, participants will have to pay Rs 250 extra.
The second short-term training programme on marketing and export management will be held from June 23 to June 27. The course includes futures trading, opportunities for exports, formalities for foreign trade, price factors, licensing, export regulations, market development and export promotion measures. The fee for the course is Rs 1600 excluding board and lodging.
