ICD, a US-headquartered water-based coatings manufacturer will begin operating under a new name – ICD High Performance Coatings + Chemistries.
According to its CEO and President Kris Vockler, the rebrand strategy represents not only a name change but its “vision for the future” by expanding its product offerings and promoting its silicone expertise.
Casey Anderson, ICD Marketing Manager added that , aside from its B2B architectural, automotive, and decorative/protective coatings, the company is now manufacturing and offering upstream solutions for the broader coatings formulation market.
ICD’s proprietary product is a 1-component, water-based silicone elastomer named PerformaSil 100, formulated to improve overall coating properties and out-perform solvent-based silicones, while aiding easy application and cleanup, ICD said.
