ContiTech opens new plant in Hungary

 

Rubber technology specialist, Contitech has opened a new rubber compound plantation in Nyíregyháza, Hungary to strengthen the company’s presence in the region.

 

The new plant has opened 25 job opportunities at the production site. It belongs to Phoenix Légrugró Technológia Ltd., a company that operates a plant for air spring systems in Nyíregyháza.

 

Dr. Peter Scholtissek, Head of the ContiTech Compounding Technology business unit said during the inauguration that the new plant has been put up to improve the production at the other plants in the region. It will supply air suspension systems in Nyíregyháza as well as to hose production sites in Makó/Hungary and Carei/Romania and other neighbouring regions. (RJA)
