Continental Tire the Americas LLC has added 37 sizes to the Altimax RT43, the General tyre brand’s newest all-season touring tyre.
The Altimax RT43 is available in sizes ranging from 13- inch to 18-inch wheels with a UTQG wear rating of 600 for 13-inch to 15-inch wheels and 700 for 16-inch to 18-inch wheels.
The company says the tyre’s technologies include the Peak Anti-Slip Sipe Design Technology (PASD) that increases the number of biting edges for traction on slippery roads.
The tyre also contains Low Surface Abrasion Technology (LSA), providing construction elements that reduce tread distortion as the tyre rolls, resulting in less surface abrasion to promote even tread wear and extended tread life.
Other technologies include the Monitor Technology including Replacement Tire Monitor (RTM) and Visual Alignment Indicators (VAI).
The all-season touring tyre has a 45-day customer satisfaction trial and a 75,000 mile limited tread life warranty.
