Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. is has begun supplying its Dunlop Enasave EC300+ tyres to Toyota Motor Corporation for use as factory standard tyres on their latest model Prius, which goes on sale this month.
“In order to meet the high environmental standards set by Toyota’s new Prius, our new Enasave EC300+ tyres incorporate the various fuel-efficient tyre technologies that we have innovated in the development of our DUNLOP “ENASAVE” series of environmentally friendly tyres. As such, our Enasave EC300+ tyres achieve improved fuel efficiency thanks to reduced rolling resistance while also providing balanced, high-level performance in terms of safety and riding comfort,” said Sumitomo Rubber Industries in a press release.
