Yokohama Rubber has signed onto the United Nations Global Compact, an initiative encouraging companies to conduct their business activities with sustainability and responsibility.
Yokohama said it embraces and will support and observe the global compact’s 10 principles of corporate social responsibility in human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption.
Launched in 2000, the UN Global Compact is the world’s largest corporate social responsibility in human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption.
