Yokohama Rubber puts up a new subsidiary in Mexico

yokohamaYOKOHAMA Rubber Co., Ltd. has established Yokohama Tire Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. (YTMX) in Silao, Guanajuato, Mexico in March this year. Appointed as President of the new subsidiary, effective April 1, is Gary Nash, who was formerly Vice President of US-based Yokohama Tire Corporation (YTC).

Previously, Yokohama sold consumer, commercial and OTR tyres to Mexico through YTC.

The new company, with a capital investment value of US$30,000, will also provide direct sales, customer service and efficient distribution channels and will start full-fledged operations in May.

Meanwhile, Yokohama has also announced a revamp in the responsibilities of senior management, effective April 1:
