MICHELIN, Bridgestone, Volkswagen and among others will be the leading figures for this upcoming World Rubber Summit to be held at the Raffles City Convention Centre this May 24, 2012. Invited presenters will be addressing concerns on the outlook and sustainability of the rubber industry. This will include environmental legislation that will impact the growth of the vehicle, tyre and downstream rubber product industries.
According to the event organiser, the summit will also include forecasting challenges and opportunities in the synthetic rubber segment to be provided by representatives from Lanxess and Styron. Financial markets perspectives, meanwhile, will be provided by Singapore Commodity Exchange, HSBC and the China Rubber Industry Association.
The conference aims to provide decision makers and business leaders with knowledge and connections they need in order to make valid business decisions in terms of growth and sustainability of the rubber industry over the coming years. (PRA)
