INDIA’s top tyre maker MRF, an enterprise that started as a toy balloon maker in 1946 in South India, is investing Rs 1,000 crore to double its capacity at a facility located in Andhra Pradesh, A state under bifurcation, near Hyderabad.
Talks of division and setup of separate Telangana and Seemandhra states are currently ongoing for the Andra Pradesh Central Government. Nevertheless, the state has continued to attract investments even from large companies, reports say.
