Renault-Dacia-Lodgy

Nexen Tire Corp., the smallest of South Korea’s three tyremakers, said Friday it will exclusively supply tyres to two lines of vehicles made by Automobile Dacia S.A., a Renault subsidiary.

The company said it will fit N’Blue HD tyres on the Lodgy multipurpose vehicle and Dokker leisure activity vehicle for the Romanian subsidiary of French automaker Renault S.A.

The two cars, which first debuted in 2012, are made in Renault’s Moroccan plant in Tangier and are sold throughout Europe.

Nexen said that its N’Blue HD has exceptional handling characteristics and has earned recognition in countries like Britain for high quality and reliability.

Besides the latest deal, Nexen has supplied tyres to Fiat S.p.A., Volkswagen AG and Skoda AG, as well as Chrysler Group LLC.
