INDIA-based TVS Automobile Solutions, a part of TVS & Sons and US-based Myers Tire Supply International have formed a partnership to mutually promote their products in the various markets across Asia.
The new company, Myers Tyre Supply India Limited, Inc. will be able to tap into the Indian automotive aftremarket with the distribution of tools, supplies, and equipment.
TVS Automobile Solutions will hold 65% stake in the JV, and Myers will hold the remaining stake, as it takes on the aftermarket tyre repair and service business in India.
The partner companies will develop their global sourcing capabilities and operate through a localised branch network to meet customer demands with competitive quality and pricing.
