SWEDEN-based Trelleborg AB, the parent company of Trelleborg Wheel Systems Americas Inc, has renewed its long-term agreement with Agco Corp for the development and innovation of agricultural tyres.
“Following the recognition of Trelleborg as the best EAME (Europe, Africa and Middle East) Supplier in September 2012, this new agreement with Agco is an important confirmation of our solid business relationship. It provides a firm foundation for the accomplishment of our ambitious future mutual goals,” says Stefano Bettinelli, OE Director at Trelleborg’s Agricultural and Forestry Tires division.
Trelleborg invested in a new factory in China in 2011, followed by Agco’s approval that it, Trelleborg, becomes a major tyre supplier for the tractors produced in Agco’s Changhzou plant.
The partnership, which was formed in 2000 has yielded projects and initiatives between the two companies and to the progressive affirmation of both brands in the market.
