The 3D animation film, Hopping to the Future, depicts the life story of a smart animated cricket, following his venture as a start-up agricultural and miniature farm owner in the 1950s to the modern era of evolving tractor generations equipped with radial technology tyres.
In the 90s setting, the cricket rides a high-speed modern tractor traversing along the road on Trelleborg XL tyres. The movie ends with the cricket finding himself back in the present day, with his farm surrounded by sustainable agricultural cultivations and technologies.
“After watching the adventures of our new animated character, we hope audiences appreciate the strong contribution and role of Trelleborg as an innovation pioneer in agriculture history”, says Lorenzo Ciferri, Marketing Director Agricultural & Forestry Tires at Trelleborg Wheel Systems.
The film was previewed by more than 3,000 visitors at the recent agricultural exhibition, SIMA 2013 held in Paris, France, according to Trelleborg.
“Our 3D film will allow our customers to experience an amazing journey and look at the performance of Trelleborg products from a totally different perspective. We wanted to bring advanced and modern entertainment tools into our business, with a goal of sharing the Trelleborg vision for the future of agriculture with farmers and contractors”, said Ciferri.
