TRELLEBORG has opened its new 2,500 sqm manufacturing facility early March in Wuxi, China that will manufacture high-performance automotive halfshaft and steering systems boots.
This new facility , which is expandable to a further 800 sqm, is an addition to the company’s several manufacturing facilities in the region for a broad range of engineered products and solutions based on polymer technology, including marine systems, specialty components, industrial anti-vibration, agricultural tires, printing solutions and precision seals.
Trelleborg has approximately 1,500 employees in China and sales in 2012 amounted to nearly 700 million SEK (107 MUSD).
