The new Proxes R888R track tyre by Toyo Tire Europe GmbH recently made its debut at the Essen Motorshow in Germany.
The line succeeds the Proxes R888 which the company says have been used to win various championships, including 2014 Toyota Sprint Series in the UK recently.
The tryes are produced in 33 sizes, have a fast warm-up time and an increased dry grip and sustained performance over multiple laps and heat cycles.
This is achieved using a rayon ‘super-high’ turn up ply on some sizes coupled with steel side plies to give the new Proxes R888R precise steering response and feedback.
