After Goodyear Dunlop Tires France and the CGT union came to an agreement over the tiremaker’s Amiens Nord factory, Titan International Inc. CEO and Chairman Maurice Taylor indicated his interest in acquiring the Amiens Nord agricultural tire business.
Since the agreement was made between Goodyear Dunlop Tires France and the CGT union, Titan International is more likely to acquire the business.
Taylor responded to questions regarding the likelihood of a Titan International offer with French radio station RTL and said that “if Goodyear contacts us about doing what we originally tried to do, and if we can work that out, then yes.”
