Russian tyre company Tatneft announced that their The Nizhnekamsk SSC tyre factory has produced its three millionth tyre of the Kama solid-steel cord design.
Nizhnekamsk SSC Tire Factory produces 66 commodity items today for all types of trucks, buses and semitrailers.
The main advantages of the Kama solid steel cord tyres include continuous operation, environmental friendliness and high-speed characteristics. The use of steel cord, the optimum design of the belt and bead, as well as the special geometry of grooves with increased self-cleaning of tyres from stones allow longer maintenance of the tyre carcass, reduced fuel consumption and increase of the load capacity of up to 8 percent.
Double tyre retreading not only increases the tyre life up to 500 thousand kilometers, but also proves to be an environmentally beneficial procedure. Retreading considerably reduces the amount of recycled tyres and emissions into atmosphere.
