Supermax to buy 100-acre land in Selangor for new glove factory

supermaxMALAYSIAN glove maker Supermax Corporation Bhd, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Maxwell Glove Manufacturing Bhd (Maxwell) acquisition of a 100-acre piece of land on which the company will build its new integrated glove manufacturing facility has been deemed by analysts a positive move.

Supermax, via its wholly-owned subsidiary, Maxwell Glove Manufacturing Bhd (Maxwell), has entered into a purchase deal with Dragonline Resources Sdn Bhd for a 100-acre piece of freehold land in Daerah Ulu Selangor for a total consideration of RM78.4 million.

The acquisition is reportedly to boost the firm’s production capacity.
