Sumitomo Rubber Industries (SRI) is pleased to announce that our head office, tire test course and domestic factories have received accreditation in ISO/IEC17025, an international standard establishing general requirements for the competencies of testing and calibration laboratories, for our tire performance testing program.
“ISO/IEC17025” is an international standard for testing and calibration laboratories that requires both technical competence and the ability to produce consistently accurate results. Following a thorough examination conducted by Perry Johnson Laboratory Accreditation Inc. (PJLA)*, an ISO accreditation organization, SRI received accreditation in the ISO/IEC17025 standard. This accreditation serves as internationally recognized proof of SRI’s technical capabilities in the field of tire performance testing.
