Japan-based tyre and rubber company, Sumitomo Rubber Industries comes out with a new tyre production system that will improve the accuracy of the production process resulting in uniformity in casing form and weight.
The new system called the Neo-T01 has evolved from Sumitomo’s 1996 Taiyo system.
Neo-T01 combines three key technologies, which Sumitomo claims can improve the high-speed uniformity by 70%; effect deformation control by 50%, and reduce weight by 10%. (RJA)
