US – In a move to increase visibility and awareness for both companies, Utah’s Speed-E-Crete, a full service concrete and landscape supply store and Merced County’s Rubber Bark, a tyre recycling company that manufactures rubber products, are announcing their partnership to start distribution of Rubber Bark, a mulch made of 100% Californian recycled tyres.
Earl Johnson, brother of Speed-E-Crete’s owner Frank Johnson, came upon Rubber Bark when researching for a rubber mulch supplier.
“I like the low maintenance aspect of rubber mulch so I am not remulching every year,” said Johnson. “I also love the concept for playgrounds and play areas. It is soft and doesn’t blow away.”
“We are very excited to team up with Speed-E-Crete,” said CEO of Rubber Bark Jana Nairn. “It’s important to have partnerships with businesses such as Speed-E-Crete that have a great customer service record.”
Speed-E-Crete, which has a location in Lehi and Springville, Utah, understands the difficulty businesses and families are having in tough economic times. The business hopes to ship Rubber Bark to the four corners of the state at a nominal cost to the customer.
