Sailun rolls out first rubber track from Vietnam plant

China’s Sailun recently commemorated the successful launch of the first rubber track at its Vietnam plant in Tay Ninh province. In the presence of leaders from Sailun group centres, partners, and representatives of the Vietnam plant staff, the inaugural rubber track was successfully produced in the vulcanisation workshop of the plant’s Phase III.

Sailun Group says it has achieved the distinction of being the first Chinese tyre firm with the capability to manufacture a complete range of tyres, including PCR, TBR, OTR, GOTR, etc., along with rubber crawler products, at its overseas facility.

Last year, following thorough market research on rubber tracks, Sailun Group promptly initiated the R&D as well as the manufacturing of rubber tracks. The entire track project, from industry research, technology introduction, equipment procurement, team formation, and production, was completed in just over seven months, it adds.

The first model of the rubber track follows the specifications of the 450X86X58 MAXAM MT130, designed for loaders. In terms of structural design, this type of track boasts high strength and is suitable for a range of models, including loaders, excavators, various construction machinery, and agricultural equipment, addressing diverse and complex road conditions. The track features a new “H”-shaped pattern, providing enhanced traction for loaders. The use of a rubber formula that is more resistant to punctures and cuts ensures an extended service life.

The debut of the first rubber track marks the beginning of a new chapter for the Vietnam plant, says Sailun, adding that it is committed to making substantial advancements in this field, continually enhancing product quality and service, and delivering high-quality rubber tracks to customers worldwide.
