Physical rubber prices finished marginally higher on Saturday. The market opened steady but improved on covering purchases during late trading hours. The trend was mixed.
Sheet rubber firmed up to Rs.149.50 (149.00) per kg, according to traders. The grade improved to Rs.149.00 (148.50) and Rs.146.00 (145.50) per kg respectively as quoted by the Rubber Board and dealers.
The April futures weakened to Rs.147.89 (148.01) May to Rs.151.85 (152.14) and June to Rs.154.50 (154.87) per kg while the July futures improved to Rs.156.50 (155.26) per kg on National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
