RUSSIAN oil company , Rosneft, represented by its Chairman, Igor Sechin has met recently with Armenia’s President, Serzh Sargsyan for official discussions on the planned styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) production joint venture in the country.
Meanwhile, Rosneft; Pirelli Tyre Russia, and Oil Techno also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with regard to establishing the plant as well as collaborating on SBR research.
The oil firm said that the implementation of this project will help introduce new technologies in Armenia and create a modern production facility for green materials, such as SBR, which is a key component for producing “Green Tyres”.
