Italy’s Marangoni Retreading Systems and Gummiservice Produksjon of Rade, Norway, have signed a cooperation agreement.
With some 40,000 retreaded tyres per year, Gummiservice Produksjon is a highly significant market player in Norway and Sweden and has been established for many years in the premium segment.
In the future, the Norwegian company will primarily base its retreaded tyre range on Marangoni products, and for the top performance segment it will use the Ringtread system. In connection with this move Gummiservice Produksjon will invest in production technology to prepare itself for the challenges of the future.
Paal Ringstad, the managing director of Gummiservice Produksjon A/S, sees this future cooperation as an important step toward independently continuing to offer his customers the best possible service and products with outstanding performance. Christian Asmuth, Marangoni’s sales director, and Jan-Olof Svensson, the area sales manager for Scandinavia at Marangoni, are aware of the responsibility of aligning Marangoni’s future developments for the Scandinavian market with the requirements of this important customer.
The alliance between Marangoni and Gummiservice Produksjon has already withstood its first acid test. With Marangoni’s support, Gummiservice Produksjon overcame intense competition to renew a multi-year supply agreement with an extremely important bus fleet customer.
