The tyre was showcased with the Magnum Rowtrac when the tractor was unveiled to media and will be featured at various farm shows and dealer meetings in September and October, the tyremaker said.
The advantage of VF tyres is its ability to maintain constant tyre pressure at any speed, the tyremaker noted. The VF’s larger footprint also leads to less soil compaction and increased mobility under difficult and wet soil conditions.
The Mitas VF product line for high-horsepower tractors was released in August with two sizes: VF 380/95R38 HC 2000 and VF 480/95R50 HC 2000. The tyremaker is planning a range extension for later this year.
