CHINESE company Mesnac, which develops and manufactures tyre equipment, is taking up 100% equity in US-based tyre tooling company Wyko Tire Technology.
While terms of the deal were not disclosed, Wyko owners Ian Smith and David Jones said Wyko’s 60 employees and the company’s manufacturing headquarters in Greenback and its offices in the UK will not be affected. Mesnac has indicated it will retain the Wyko brand and continue to provide normal service and support to customers, with no disruption in business. Smith and Jones will remain as directors of the merged business. (PRA)
