Mallard Creek Polymers’ new latexes for construction

Mallard Creek Polymers' new latexes for building & constructionUS-based Mallard Creek Polymers (MCP), a supplier of high performance latex products to concrete markets has launched a new latex line, Tylac4901,a self-stabilised styrene-butadiene latex for the oil and gas segment.

In addition, MCP is completing the development of its broad portfolio of cement modifiers for interior and exterior applications.

The Construction Products selection guide outlines many of these products, as well as other key latexes for many building and construction applications. For self-consolidating or vibro compaction concrete, MCP is actively developing and marketing rheology modifiers, under the Tychem brand, that build strength or reduce overall raw material costs for the concrete.

Tylac 4901 possesses improved gas permeability without using additional stabilising surfactants. This saves costs as well as simplifies the chemistry on the job site.

Tychem rheology modifiers control flow characteristics and water availability to cement curing.
