Malaysian agricultural firm to develop rubber plantations in Cambodia

feldaMALAYSIAN-based global agricultural and agri-commodities company, Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd (FGVH) will be developing rubber plantations in Cambodia as well as market its products including palm-oil based products in the country.

These products will be marketed in Cambodia following an agreement signed between local firm RDC International Pte Ltd and Malaysian firm, Delima Oil Products Sdn Bhd.

“Actually, we have expected the opportunities for rubber plantations here. That is why we open a management office in this country,” CEO designate Dr Emir Mavani Abdullah, said in a report.

Emir said that these developments are part of the company’s goal to becoming the biggest global integrated agribusiness group by 2020.
