Nocil (National Organic Chemicals Industries) Ltd, a manufacturer of rubber chemicals, has commissioned its Gujarat facility to produce rubber chemicals for tyre and industrial use, boosting capacity amid rising domestic and global demand.
The plant, located within the Dahej Petroleum, Chemical and Petrochemical Investment Region (PCPIR), will produce anti-degradants under the Pilnox TDQ/TMQ range used to improve tyre durability, performance and safety, as well as non-tyre applications.
In a statement, Nocil said the facility’s location provides access to raw materials, port connectivity and integrated infrastructure, supporting both domestic supply and export markets.
The company said the expansion was designed with a focus on energy efficiency and environmental considerations, and aligned with India’s broader push toward greater self-reliance in specialty chemicals at a time of global supply chain realignment.
