GOODYEAR has launched its Eagle Sport All-Season tyre that features a new tread compound for the tyre, which comes with a 50,000-mile tread wear warranty.
The mid-tier high performance tyre will sit below the Goodyear Eagle F1 asymmetrical all-season tyre and will be replacing the Goodyear Eagle GT, says Goodyear, adding that the new tyre is designed for performance drivers seeking all-season traction, responsiveness and “outstanding” wet and dry handling,
The tyre also features asymmetric tread pattern, which the company said provides responsive handling and grip whilst reducing road noise and promoting even wear. The tyre also maintains a large tread surface area even at light loads, providing consistent performance across a wide range of vehicles.
The new tyres will be available this month of June, with a full line of 47 sizes available by year-end.
