The merger of the two key manufacturers of engineered elastomers, rubber, and cast polyurethane, servicing Western Canada and the USA, is expected to deliver complementary services to customers through single resource for technical advice and engineered solutions.
BC Rubber supplies and manufactures natural and synthetic rubber parts for the Marine, Mining, Construction and Transportation industries in Western Canada. Its products include covered wheels and rolls, AASHTO compliant engineered bridge bearing pads, compression-moulded rubber parts, custom seals and gaskets. The company maintains the largest inventory of rubber and elastomer sheet-stock in Western Canada.
Its 15,000 sq ft manufacturing facility Langley will serve as manufacturing base for the Epic Polymer System, and the product lines and markets will be served under the Epic Polymer brand.
Epic Polymer Systems, with manufacturing operations in Western Canada and United States, specialises in eliminating customer downtime through design-manufacturing of engineered elastomers, cast polyurethanes and machined mechanical plastic parts; engineered parts such as polyurethane wear liners, lagged rollers, bumpers & vibration pads, and mechanical parts such as bearings, sprockets and gears.
