Doublestar Tire Corp. recently added four SmartWay verified truck tyres, covering all three wheel positions, to its line offerings and is planning to launch two more, the company said.
In addition, two other models — an all-position tyre and a drive tyre — are under review by the Environmental Protection Agency for SmartWay verification and could be available in about a month, Doublestar said.
Doublestar tyres can be purchased by container load directly from China or through the company’s U.S. warehouse locations in Memphis, Tenn., and Rancho Cucamonga, according to the tyre marketer, a subsidiary of China’s Qingdao Doublestar Tire Co. Ltd.
