China Manufacturers Alliance L.L.C (CMA) will launch the “Duraturn” brand as a full tyre line — passenger, light truck, trailer and medium truck — at the upcoming International Tire Exhibition & Conference–Tire Dealers/Auto Service (ITEC) Aug. 20-22 in Orlando, Fla.

Besides launching the Duraturn line, CMA will showcase its Double Coin truck/OTR, Warrior passenger/light truck and Dynatrail specialty trailer tyre lines at its booth, No. 400.

CMA has secured the North American marketing rights to the Duraturn brand, which is owned and produced by China’s Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum Group Rubber Co. Ltd., according to Aaron Murphy, vice president.

CMA has offered Duraturn truck tyres for the past 18 months, but this marks the debut of the expanded portfolio, he said, and gives CMA a more price-point sensitive consumer tyre line alongside the Warrior brand, which was launched earlier this year.

In addition, CMA Vice President Walt Weller will speak on “The Importance of China in the Global Tire Industry” at ITEC, and Mr. Murphy will be on a panel of industry experts discussing the OTR tyre segment.
