Cimcorp relocates to larger US office with expanded after market services, automated solutions

Continued market expansion and a growing customer base across the US and nearby Mexicohave prompted Cimcorp Group, a manufacturer of pioneering material handling systems for the tyre industry, to relocate to a new, larger US office for quicker and more localised aftermarket services.

Located in Alpharetta, Georgia, the new space will be a centre of service excellence to help both current and prospective customers realise long-lasting benefits from their automated material handling solutions.

Rick Trigatti, President, Cimcorp Automation, said, “While our previous location served us well in establishing our US-based operations and services, it offered only room for office space. Since its opening in 2016, we have seen tremendous growth in the US, as more organisations have recognised the operational and business benefits of automating their plants, warehouses and distribution centers.”

In addition to space for offices and the workshop, the facility will also provide a showroom for Cimcorp’s 3D Shuttle solution, an automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS) for goods-to-person order picking. The system is ideal for e-commerce, retail and food service distribution. Customers and visitors can see how the 3D Shuttle uses gantry robot technology together with a unique shuttle device to rapidly store and retrieve goods stored – it has the ability to handle up to 1,000 crates/totes per hour from a storage area.
