ChemSpec, a chemicals company based in Ohio in the US, has signed an agreement with the largest silane coupling agent manufacturer in China, Jingzhou Jianghan Fine Chemical Co., Ltd. (JHSi), to be the exclusive distributor of the latter’s more than 100 silane coupling agent products in North America.
This is part of ChemSpec’s efforts to progressively provide innovative solutions for clients in the growing silane markets. The anticipated growth in silane coupling agents, as a versatile compound solution in bonding inorganic and organic materials, is projected in the US at several million pounds annually for a myriad of manufacturing industry applications.
JHSi’s silane coupling agent product series consists of a diverse array of sulfur silanes, amino silanes, vinyl silanes, epoxy silanes, alkyl silanes, and silane cross-linkers, etc. The versatile series has also been listed in the China’s Catalog of High-Technology Export Products, whose annual production output is approximately 50,000 tonnes.
