Chinese-owned manufacturing company SaarGummi is expanding to Mexico. The company is making a new home in the La Angostura manufacturing community in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico.
La Angostura is managed by the Offshore Group who welcomed the newcomer in their community.
SaarGummi is an international manufacturer of rubber seals for passenger cars, and commercial vehicles. They have facilities in of rubber seals for passenger cars, and commercial vehicles, and will open in Salltillo in September.
The move will be the company’s first time to test the Mexican auto manufacturing market. SaarGummi’s arrival will create as many as 30 new jobs over the next year.
The Offshore Group says that the strength of Mexico’s automotive industry and growth in Saltillo promises to support SaarGummi’s North American operations and plans for expansion.
