Cabot Corporation recently announced the launch of expanded range of premium carbon black products for racing and ultra-high-performance tyres with the launch of the new Propel X carbon black series. Cabot will showcase these new products at Tyre Technology Expo 2018, February 20-22, 2018, in Hannover, Germany.
The popularity of sports cars and luxury vehicles has led to a steady increase in the demand for high performance tyres. Ultra-high-performance tyres are designed with a focus on traction and precise handling characteristics which enables vehicles to safely reach ever-increasing performance requirements. Cabot has developed proprietary and differentiated carbon blacks to enhance the performance of these tyres and is a leader in carbon black product offerings for a variety of applications including motorcycle, on-road ultra-high-performance and on-track racing tyres.
The Propel X series offers a range of reinforcement solutions to optimize performance for specific formulations and tread geometries.
