The Bridgestone Group announced that it will reorganise its manufacturing operations in Huanan, China in a bid to make its polyurethane foam products manufacturing more efficient.
The Group relayed that the Buji Plant of Bridgestone Ever Light Hong Kong Co Ltd (ELHK), which manufactures polyurethane foam products in the Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, will stop production in the first half of 2014. Meanwhile, production of polyurethane foam products in the Huanan region of China will take place at the Group’s Bridgestone (Kaiping) Diversified Products Co Ltd (BSKD) manufacturing facility in Kaiping, Guangdong Province.
