Bridgestone HosePower, a wholly owned indirect subsidiary of Bridgestone Corporation, announced today it is expanding its presence on the West Coast by acquiring The Hose Pros, a hydraulic hose sales and service company in San Diego, California.

The Hose Pros operates in San Diego and Los Angeles markets, as well as the greater Orange County area with eight mobile service trucks and 14 employees. With this acquisition, Bridgestone HosePower now totals 38 branch locations in the United States and one location in Mexico. Bridgestone HosePower serves the hydraulic and industrial hose industry focusing on products in the original equipment, oil and gas, construction, mining and agricultural sectors. The new position in Southern California will allow Bridgestone HosePower to advance its broad product offerings including its private band Flextral product line in a very strong hose market.
Darren McWilliams will remain the Branch Manager of the location. All Hose Pros employees (14) have been offered and accepted positions with Bridgestone HosePower.
