Private brand marketer Husky Tire Corp. reports its Blacklion BF155 ST and BF156 ST regional and premium steer-axle truck tyres have achieved EPA SmartWay verification as low rolling-resistance tyres.
The Blacklion radial truck tyre lineup includes one other SmartWay-verified tyre, the BT166 FST trailer tyre. FST stands for Fuel Saving Technology, the Blacklion designation for reduced rolling resistance products.
The BF155 ST is available in six sizes — 11R22.5, 11R24.5, 12R22.5, 285/75R24.5, 295/75R22.5 and 315/80R22.5 — while the BF156 ST comes in four sizes, 11R22.5, 11R24.5, 285/75R24.5 and 295/75R22.5.
Husky Tire sources the Blacklion brand from China’s Qingdao Sailun Tyre Co. Ltd., according to Blacklion literature.
