US rubber chemicals and compounding materials provider, Akrochem has secured Texas-sited Bech Chem LLC, a company with more than 25 years of experience in the global chemical supply chain. The transaction is effective immediately, and Akrochem said it continues to operate under its current name.

Akrochem said that its purchase of Bech Chem enables it to expand into new industries and bring its over 90 years of experience in chemical distribution to new markets, specifically paints, coatings, and lubricants. The Ohio-based company also has a broad line of rubber compounding products. Furthermore, Akrochem will be able to provide more extensive support services for Bech Chem customers.
