Semperit A.G. Holding has completed the acquisition of rubber seal manufacturer Lesser GmbH & Co. K.G. to strengthen the firm’s Semperform business.
Antitrust authorities approved the deal April 29. Together, Semperform and Lesser give the operation a future-oriented portfolio in attractive niche markets, according to Semperit.
Leeser complements the existing Semperform business, it said, especially in profiles for windows, doors and facades. Closing the transaction means Semperform can better serve customers and opens up new markets for the business, the firm said.
Leeser operates two production plants in Dusseldorf, Germany. It has a work force of about 200 and primarily serves the Western European market and the region of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. – Rubbernews.com
